Early Edition, Pleasing Copy, Very Scarce

The second volume in the new series of the British Magazine, under 'another and more appropriate title.' The first series was originally published in 1827.

A fascinating and extensive miscellany of fictional and Christian works, containing essays, poems, short stories, reviews. 

Contributions are by authors such as Mary Howitt, C. Swan, J. Thornton, James Wilson, and many others. 

With an extensive Index to the rear. 

Condition

Disbound. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor faint spotting to the front leaves. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally clean with only a minor faint spotting to the odd leaf.
