With the bookplate of the Society of Apothecaries to the front pastedown, inscribed 'presented by H. W. Statham 1882'.
This work is regarded as the first textbook in neuropathology.

Rebacked, in a half calf binding with back strip laid down. Light rubbing to back strip, otherwise externally very smart. Light rubbing to joints. Retaining the original endpapers. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Library stamps to title page and further leaves. Pages otherwise generally clean and bright, with the odd spot.
