    First edition. The Library of Entertaining Knowledge. Illustrated throughout. A detailed and comprehensive study of vegetable substances being used in arts and domestic economy, with specific reference to timber trees and fruits. Publisher's advertisements to the rear.

    Condition

    In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Minor age toning to the extremities. Contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown.
