The first edition of this work. A very scarce copy, rarely seen in commerce and found institutionally only at the British Library and the National Library of Scotland. 

Lecture on Christian freemen's duty to elect Christian rulers delivered by Ezra Stiles Ely on the 4th of July 1827. On Christian liberty and of the American Sunday School Union.

Ezra Stiles Ely was an American minister during the Second Great Awakening.

Condition

Rebound in marbled cards, with titles to front wrap paper label, new endpapers. Externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting scattered to leaves.
