This Book of Common Prayer printed at the Clarendon Press by Samuel Collingwood and Co. for the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge.

In full signed contemporary calf binding by J. Smith, with 'Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge' blind-stamped to the front board. 

Comprising the Church services, a table of proper lessons and psalms, the orders for morning and evening prayers, and other orders for services such as baptism, as well as prayers for particular uses and days. 

Together with a new version of the Psalms of David, fitted to the tunes used in churches by N. Tate and N. Brady.

Condition

In full calf binding, with 'Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge' blind-stamped to the front board. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities, resulting in loss to the spine head. Contemporary ink inscription and binder's print to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot or handing mark, most concentrated to the first and last couple leaves.
