This collection features four reports from various Scottish Parliamentary committees, including; the 'Report of the Inspector of Prisons, Scotland 1836', the 'Report of the Society in Edinburgh for Clothing the Industrious Poor and Supplying Them with Coals, and Deposit for the Poor, 1838', two copies of the 'Report by the Committee of the House of Refuge for the Destitute, 1833' and the 'Report of The Committee for Promoting the Means of Education and Religious Instruction Throughout Scotland, and Particularly in the Highlands and Islands, 1827'. These fascinating reports provide a glimpse into the history of Scotland, with information on these committees and their effects and contributions to society.

Lacking covers and title page. Disbound but intact in two sections. Includes three loose pages. Pages are lightly age toned with the odd spot, heavier to the front and rear. Loose pages are age toned with the odd spot.
