By William Cowper, an English poet and hymnodist, and was one of the most popular poets of his time. He often wrote about nature and the countryside, and he was one of the forerunners of the Romantic poetry movement.
Condition
Uniformly bound in full calf. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities and spots and marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few scattered spots, more concentrated to the first and last few pages and engraved plates. Offsetting to pages facing plates.
