By William Cowper, an English poet and hymnodist, and was one of the most popular poets of his time. He often wrote about nature and the countryside, and he was one of the forerunners of the Romantic poetry movement.

Condition

In a full panelled calf binding. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the joints and extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with the occasional scattered spot.
