Hoppus was an English surveyor who lent his name to the Hoppus, a unit of measurement to give the solid content and the value of any piece to timber, stone or other building material, square or round.
Condition
In a full calf binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed with bumping to extremities. Joints cracked. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright with occasional spotting. Small closed tear to fold out repaired with tape. Fold out slightly foxed.
