Vanishingly scarce work.

Bound in the publisher's original paper-covered boards.

A collection of various writings translated into English, including 'From the Latin of Catullus', 'From the Greek of Anacreon', 'From the Italian of Petrarca' and many more.

Translated and occasionally paraphrased, by 'the author of "Ireland," A Satire', attributed to Rose Price, of the Price baronets.

With an ink inscription of the author's name to the title page 'Rose Price (Author)', although unknown whether this annotation was made by the author or by a previous owner of the book.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's original paper-covered boards. Externally, sound, with slight bumping and a little rubbing to the extremities. Joints are rubbed and starting to crack. Chipping to spine label and backstrip, with the odd mark to boards. Bookplate and ink mark to front paste down. Spotting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the odd mark or spot.
