With reference to descriptions of the earth, maps from across the world, and the division of nations. With a chronological table and vast index. Written by Samuel Butler, an English classical scholar and schoolmaster of Shrewsbury School, and Bishop of Lichfield.

    Condition

    Bound in half calf with marbled boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and light loss to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine with light loss to the spine label. The odd mark to the boards and a small crack to the front joint at the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark.
