Charmingly illustrated with numerous vignettes throughout, and a folding plate of the solar system frontispiece. While no collation is available for this edition, other editions contain a second folding plate of the earth, which this copy does not have. 

With four pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

Bound in full calf, with the boards rebacked. Externally, very smart, with light wear only. Ink note to front paste down. Endpapers retained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just the odd mark or small closed tear. Paper tape repair to the verso of the folds of the frontispiece.
