An extra-illustrated copy, retaining the frontispiece as called for, but with an additional twelve plates. 

Wright describes the town of Ludlow, its castle, the lives of local residents, and offers a 'Descriptive and Historical Accounts of Gentlemen's Seats, Villages, &c.'.

In a full calf signed binding by the Ipsley bindery, with endpapers renewed.

Retaining half title.

Condition

In a full calf signed binding, with endpapers renewed. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned to perimeters, otherwise clean and bright, with only the odd spot.
