Waldegrave's memoirs, considered important in the record and development of Whig history, detail the importance of his time as First Lord of the Treasury.

With the armorial bookplate of Frederick Keppel to the front pastedown.

Rebacked, with endpapers renewed.

Retaining half title.

Condition

Rebacked, retaining original diced calf boards. Significant rubbing to back strip head and tail and joints. Endpapers renewed. Hinges strained, and somewhat tender. Armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally bright, with spotting and instances of foxing.
