A comic narrative poem, written in ottava rima verse, the poem tells the story of a woman whose husband, presumed lost at sea, unexpectedly returns during the Venice festival. It is praised for demonstrating Byron's wit, irony and talent for social commentary.
Rebound in paper wraps. Lacking the original blanks, and lacking half title.
Early editions of this poem are rarely found individually bound, and usually appear bound with other works from Byron.

Rebound in patterned paper wraps. Lacking original blanks. Back strip a touch age toned, otherwise externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned due to paper type, with light spotting and handling marks throughout.
