William Marshall's reviews and abridgements of the county records from the Board of Agriculture. The Board of Agriculture was a British association founded to promote agricultural improvement, which was created upon the suggestion of William Marshall. However, when Arthur Young, Marshall's rival, was made president and the board began publishing their reports, Marshall endeavoured to review the reports and provide an abstract and criticism of their work, claiming that their publications were too lengthy and discouraged the public from benefiting from them. This series features Marshall's critiques and abridgements of the board's reports, providing his opinions and aims to improve upon their ideas and reports. 

Bound in modern crushed half morocco with marbled paper to the boards. Endpapers and blanks renewed, original half titles retained.
