Oliver Goldsmith was an important and prolific Anglo-Irish author in the eighteenth century. The present work contains a collection of his works, including the important and famous work 'The Vicar of Wakefield,' miscellaneous poems, and plays 'She Stoops to Conquer' and 'The Good Natured Man.' 

With a sketch of the life and writings of the author. 

Featuring well known poems such as 'The Traveller,' 'The Deserted Village,' and 'The Hermit' among other sonnets and verses. 

Illustrated with a beautiful engraved frontispiece.

Condition

Rebound in full calf, marbled endpapers. Externally smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly rubbed to spine and joints. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor faint spotting scattered to leaves.
