A very scarce first edition.

The publication of Dr. David Uwins's lecture on 'Modern Maladies' given to the Medical Society of London.

Uwins was a general practitioner and physician to two London hospitals as well as to Peckham House Private asylum. He was, towards the end of his life, one of the earliest English exponents of homeopathy.
