What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Rebound, Very Scarce
The first edition of this very scarce work.
Sir Francis Burdett, 5th Baronet, was a notorious proponent of universal male suffrage, equal electoral districts, vote by ballot, and annual parliaments, viewed to be the premier national figure of the radical reform movement.
This work presents a history of savings banks, describing the particulars of the 'earliest institutions', and 'every detail connected with their management under the late act of parliament'.
