Disbound from the original covers and split into two separate articles, with continuous pagination. 

These two very scarce articles were taken from 'The Pamphleteer', a periodical from the 1800s featuring a series of interesting articles or 'Pamphlets. The articles include a study on epidemics and diseases and how to handle and prevent them, with further discussion on quarantines, and an economic article on avoiding national financial calamity. 

This set features;

'Suggestions for the Prevention and Mitigation of Epidemic and Pestilential Diseases, Comprehending the Abolition of Quarantines and Lazarettos: With Some Opportune Remarks Upon the Danger of Pestilence from Scarcity. Intended to Serve as an Introduction to a Work, Entitled Researches in Turkey, Concerning the Plague', by Charles Maclean.
