With 'printed in 1817' to the title page tail, with the true first edition reading 'Printed, 1817: Published, 1818' to the title page tail. 

Credited to 'An Oxford Graduate' to the title page, where the true first edition features Bentham's name. 

Bentham in this work dismantles the Anglican Catechism, embodied in the Book of Common Prayer, calling it a bad substitute for the Bible itself, and demanding the abolition of its use in schools. 

Pages liii-lv are supplied as photocopied sheets, as the pages themselves are absent from the text.

Retaining the original half title.
