The work was inspired by Robert Boyle's 'Occasional Reflextions on Various Subjects'. This volume also includes an account of the life of the author.

Bound in half calf with marbled paper to the boards. Externally sound with rubbing to the extremities, joints, and boards, rear joint tender, and cracking to the spine. Lacking front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages with spotting throughout.
