Description

Very Scarce

The second edition, being the first edition to be published in 'The Pamphleteer'. Vol. 2, No. 3 of the 'Pamphleteer'.

A very scarce article discussing the state of the parliamentary decision on whether or not to renew the East India Company's Charter. The work was published before the decision was made to renew their charter, known as the 1813 'East India Company Act'. The act was important historically, as it continued the Crowns sovereignty over British India, and allowed the Christian missionaries to preach their religion in the company's territories.
