An early edition of this important and comprehensive reference book relating to the study of mathematics.

Written by mathematician and teacher, Thomas Keith.

First published in 1788 this key soon became a standard reference work, leading to many subsequent editions.

With an appendix containing a synopsis of logarithmical arithmetic, under a separate pagination.

Condition

Bound in full calf, with the boards rebacked and a new spine. Externally, very good, with light bumping and a little rubbing to the extremities. Paper label to spine. Endpapers retained, with an ink inscription of 'M. Bourne' to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few handling marks. Slight offsetting from small petals between pages 57 and 70.
