Description

Leather Binding, Signed

The third edition, with the first and second editions being published in 1600 and 1614. This third edition is a facsimile based of these editions, and contains facsimiles of the original title pages to the first and second editions.

Signed by J. M. Barrie, the renowned author of the popular 'Peter Pan' works, to the front blank.

A fantastic anthology of old English poetry, containing works from some of England's most eminent poets such as William Shakespeare, Robert Green, Edmund Spencer, Sir Walter Raleigh and many more. The original editions of this collection are now vanishingly scarce, making this the earliest edition accessible to the public.

Bound in full diced calf, re-backed.

Condition
