The first edition of this very scarce work. 

In a quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards and a paper spine label. 

Dedicated, with permission, to His Royal Highness the Prince Regent.

This personal work addresses the author's own relationship with Christianity, followed by dissertations on miracles, prophecies and sectaries. To the appendix is a statement of the Heads of the late Bishop Horne's sermons. 

By the Rev. Charles Powlett, wo was chaplain in ordinary to the Prince of Wales.

Condition

In a quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, with rubbing and bumping only to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with faint scattered spotting throughout.
