Bound in lovely modern crushed quarter morocco with marbled paper to the boards. Endpapers renewed, retaining original engraved title page.

A very scarce military handbook from the Adjutant-Generals office featuring regulations and orders for the British Army. The work was published during the Napoleonic wars, making this an interesting and insightful work depicting how the British army was operated during this historic time period. 

Includes tables and forms.

Condition

Bound in modern crushed quarter morocco with marbled paper to the boards. Endpapers renewed, retaining original engraved title page. Externally lovely. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only the odd spot, and an owner's inscription to the engraved title page and dedication. Slight loss to pp.247, and the odd minor tidemark.
