What Our Customers Say...
Description
Author's Presentation Copy, Leather Binding, Signed, Very Scarce
A signed presentation copy of the 'new edition, with additions' of this very scarce work.
Inscribed to the half title 'Frances Susan Howard given to her by Lord Carlisle Sep 11th 1817'. Frances was the author's daughter-in-law, being the wife of his son Maj. Frederick Howard, who was killed in action at Waterloo in 1815. This copy, therefore, was inscribed to her after her husbands death.

Including poems such as 'Prologue to the Father's Revenge', 'Verses on the Death of Lord Nelson', and 'To Mrs. Isabella Pitt'.
With an engraved frontispiece.
Beautifully bound in straight grain morocco with gilt detailing, with gilt dentelles.
