The fifth edition of this work, originally published in 1774 by clergyman William Jones, disapproving of Socinianism. ESTC notes this to be a reply to Joseph Priestley's 'An Appeal to the Serious and Candid Professors of Christianity' published in 1770. The author outlines his disapproval in the Socinian belief system, discussing spiritual wickedness, Socinian error, the original sin, and more.
