A complete three volume set. 

An autobiography from Charles François Dumouriez, detailing his life and military career. Dumouriez was a French military officer and general who played a role during the French Revolutionary War, sharing a victory at Valmy, before losing the Battle of Neerwinden and deserting the revolutionary army. 

Condition

Bound in full contemporary eighteenth century calf. Externally, lightly rubbed to the extremities and joints, with slight fading and cracking to the spines and marks to the boards. Offsetting to the extremities of the endpapers, with light spotting to the front of 'Vol 3'. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with the odd minor spot.
