First Edition, Very Scarce

The first edition of this very scarce advertisement, being the variant with the catchword 'The' to pp.2. 

 very rare and last seen at auction in 1983 (where it sold for $150. 

A very scarce advertisement for tinned copper sheets and pipes, written by the brothers Charles and John Wyatt. Charles patented the material in 1790, and began manufacturing it with his brother a couple years later. The advert proposes the properties and advantages of the material, being durable for all seasons. 

Disbound, with all pages present.

Undated, dated by the date the brother started to manufacture the material at the date listed to the rear of the advertisement.

Condition

Disbound, with all pages present. Pages generally bright and clean, with the odd small closed tear to the extremities, and an ink notation to pp.2.
