Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece, and thirty-six monochrome plates depicting coats of arms and an engraved title page to 'Volume I'. Plates 37-80 in 'Volume II'. Collated, complete.

An account of the titled aristocracy and heraldry of England, Scotland and Ireland, with their coats of arms. The work covers the descents of the royals, Dukes, Earls, Barons and other notable titled individuals. 

Bound in contemporary full calf.

Condition

Bound in contemporary full calf. Externally, front joint starting at the head to 'Vol I', cracking to the spines, and minor edge wear. Light spotting and minimal offsetting to the endpapers, with cracking to the hinges, though remaining firm, with front free endpaper to 'Vol I' starting. Internally firmly bound with minimal age toning, and generally clean pages with only the odd spot. Pages closely cropped, not effecting text.
