Containing the following:

The Dramatist; or, Stop Him Who Can! A Comedy in Five Acts by Frederick Reynolds. Dated from ESTC 1790, Ref. N64091. The first authorised edition; from the first performance at Covent Garden in May 1789. It printed in Dublin in a pirated edition the following year. No frontispiece.

The Way to Keep Him; A Comedy in Five Acts by Arthur Murphy. Dated from Copac 1806. As performed at the Theatres Royal, Drury Lane and Covent Garden. Originally performed in 1760 in three acts, later expanded to five due to its great success. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

The Goodnatured Man; A Comedy by Oliver Goldsmith. Dated from Copac 1807. As performed at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden. Originally performed in 1768 with Mary Bulkley as Miss Richland and printed in the same year, a success for Goldsmith. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

John Bull; or, the Englishman's Fireside: A Comedy in five Acts, by George Coleman, the Younger. Dated from Copac 1806. First authorised edition. As first performed at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden in March 1803: there was a Dublin piracy the same year. The most successful play by this author. Illustrated with a frontispiece.
