John Egerton's extensive bibliography on the dramatic performances in the English language, from the earliest productions to the end of 1787.

Interestingly detailing the history of the production and publication of the plays of Shakespeare, including a list of the possible order in which Shakespeare's plays were written.

An interesting history on the development of English drama and the publication of the plays.

A reissue of 'Egerton's Theatrical Remembrancer'.

Condition

In a full calf. Externally, the front board is detached but present. Light marks and discolouration to the boards and spine. A little loss to the front joint and head and tail of the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Label to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean with the odd spot.
