This informative work is comprised of explanatory notes surrounding Homer's Iliad, exploring the content, characters and Homer's style and language.

With an additional title page containing an illustration of Homer. Collated, complete.  

With a previous owner's ink inscription and the blind stamp of Carson P. Kohle to the front endpaper.

Condition

Bound in hardback boards. Externally, sound with rubbing to boards and extremities. A little loss to the spine head and tail, with marks to boards. Ink inscription and blind stamp to front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
