Combining travel narrative with acute observation, Swinburne records the geography, art, architecture, customs, agriculture, and governance of the regions he visited, from Andalusia to Catalonia.

Condition

In a contemporary calf binding, with gilt detailing to back strip. Significant rubbing to back strip and board perimeters, with minor losses to back strip head and tail. Joints starting, with rear board firmly held, and front board a touch tender. Stamp to verso of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
