This set includes; ‘Archaeologia: or, Miscellaneous Tracts Relating to Antiquity’ Volume XII (1796); Volume XI (1794), Volume VII (1785), and Volume V (1779). 

Illustrated with thirty one engraved plates to ‘Vol V’, including many folding plates. Thirty-four to ‘Vol VII’. Twenty-one plates to ‘Vol XI’, with plate 312 next to pp. 320. Fifty-three to ‘Vol XII’. Collated, complete.

‘Archaeologia: or, Miscellaneous Tracts Relating to Antiquity' is a scholarly print journal published by the Society of Antiquaries of London. The journal features a series of articles on important developments in the world of antiquities, covering topics such as; antiquities and inscriptions found in the Tower of London, druidical remains found in Derbyshire, an account of the Bicknacre Priory in Essex, the discovery of ancient swords and remains, and an essay on the history of the Venta Incenorum.

Bound in modern cloth. Externally excellent with only rear hinge to Vol V and ‘XII’ tender. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with the odd spot, and occasional offsetting.
