Homer's renowned classical work of ancient Greek literature, following Odysseus as he travels from from the ten year long Trojan war. This edition features Alexander Pope's translation of the iconic work, and features all twenty-four books, and 'Homer's Battle of the Frogs and Mice' a parody of the Iliad to the rear.

Bound in full contemporary calf.

Condition

Bound in full contemporary calf. Externally, wear to the extremities, with joints starting ever so slightly to the front, marks to the boards including damp staining, and cracking to the spine. Bookplate of 'Ronl Hunt' to the front pastedown. Internally firmly bound with bright pages, with the odd spot, and tidemarks from pp. 324-339.
