Volume one only. A second volume was published in 1779. 

A collection of satirical verses from John Almon, the English journalist and publisher who is best known for his reports of debates in parliament. These verses comment on the government and notable political figures such as the Earl of Sandwich and the Earl of Dartmouth. 

Bound in half calf, re-backed with original boards.

Condition

Bound in half calf, re-backed with original boards. Externally, boards worn to the extremities with slight marks and fading, minimal wear to the front joint. 'Henry Seymour Library' bookplate to the front pastedown, with front free endpaper weak. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages, with a library blind stamp and minor offsetting to the title page.
