Very Scarce
Two parts bound in one. In French. Elements on the Laws of Translation together with historical notes on the Latin laws and French laws. With an extensive discourse as preface to front and decorative pieces throughout. Previous owner's ink inscription to first title page.
Condition
In a roan binding. Externally, smart but with slight wear to extremities and slight evidence of past worming to rear joint and backstrip and with the odd mark to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Generally bright and clean throughout with only slight marginal loss to pages 89 to 92 of part two very slightly affecting text otherwise in a lovely condition internally with only the odd spot to endpapers.
