What Our Customers Say...
Description
Leather Binding, Scarce
A scarce collection of Jean-Baptise de Mirabaud and Firmin Abauzit works on religion. Includes a history of the opinions of Jews, a candid reflection on the Gospel and a historical discourse on the apocalypse by Mr. Abauzit. It is three volumes in one. Mirabaud was a French writer and translator, known for his translation of Jerusalem Delivered by Torquato Tasso. Firmin Abauzit is an intellectual giant known for editing the works of Isaac Newton. Most of his own work has been removed from history due to his religious beliefs shown in this work as he doubts the canonical authority of the Apocalypse. In French.
