A very scarce first edition.

Drawing on his experience as a magistrate in Warwickshire, Homer examined the deficiencies of the existing parish-based system of road maintenance, particularly criticising the inefficiencies and abuses associated with statute labour.

Rebound in cloth, with endpapers renewed. With the stamp of the Rothamsted Experimental Station to the front pastedown.

Condition

Rebound in cloth, with endpapers renewed. Externally, fine. Stamp to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned due to paper type, with light spotting to title page, otherwise clean and bright.
