A wonderful edition of Virgil's poem about agriculture and the natural world, with commentary and notes from Martyn on botany and agriculture.

Condition

In a contemporary calf binding with gilt detailing to back strip. Minor loss of calf to back strip tail, and further loss to head of rear joint. Rear joint head and tail starting, with board firmly held. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
