    Bound in half calf.

    The posthumously collected works of English novelist and critic Samuel Butler, best known for the satirical utopian novel 'Erewhon'.

    Including Butler's most famous and renowned work, 'Hudibras'.

    Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and ten plates. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    Bound in half calf. Endpapers renewed, blanks retained. Externally, very good, with rubbing to boards and joints, and a few marks. Rear hinge a touch strained, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Ink inscription to title page.
