For this work, West was awarded an LLD from Oxford University.

Condition

Bound in full calf. Externally, very good with light rubbing to the extremities and joints, and the odd mark to board. Minor loss to spine tail. Retaining the original endpapers, blanks and half title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small tear to the first page, not affecting text. Ink inscription to front endpaper.
