Condition
In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, front board is detached but present. Rubbing to the boards and spine. Light bumping to the extremities. A small amount of loss to the backstrip, tail of the backstrip is lifting. Extremities of the boards are a little age-toned. Rear hinge is a little strained but remains firm. Tail of the front endpaper and frontispiece are working loose. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with scattered spots and handling marks. The occasional pencil note to the margins. Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the title page.
