    The twelfth edition, corrected. 

    Elisha Coles' comprehensive English-Latin dictionary, providing a guide to translating either language to the other, with a small section to the rear featuring a collection of English words which 'agree in sound, yet differ in sense and orthography...Etc'. Coles was a seventeenth century English lexicographer. 

    The register runs as; [two pages unnumbered], A-Z4, Aa-Aa4, Aaa-Ddd4, Eee-Eee2. Lacking Eee3-4.

    With three columns to each page. 

    Bound in full contemporary reversed calf.

    Condition

    Bound in full contemporary reversed calf. Externally, light wear to the extremities, with marks to the boards. Owner's ink inscriptions to the endpapers, with minor worming. Internally firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages. Tidemarks from Nn-Pp3 and to rear blanks.
