French language. Nineteen volumes. Scarce collection. Written by Jean Rousset de Missy, a French Huguenot writer, renowned historian, and author on international law. This collection was considered the international reference works for contemporary diplomats and emphasized the importance of international law. Illustrated with a genealogy table as a folding plate to volume fifteen. This collection includes volumes one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, eleven, twelve, a supplementary volume considered thirteen entitled Le Proces Entre la Grande Bretagne et l'Espagne, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, a supplement to volume eighteen entitled Recherches ur les Alliances et le Interets Entre la France et la Suede, Relativement aux Circonstances presentes des Affaires du Nord & de l'Empire, and volume twenty.

Condition

In the original full calf binding. Externally, sound with rubbing to the extremities and minor loss to some of the boards, particularly the front board of volume 12. Joints starting but firm to most volumes though front boards of volumes 1, 2, 4, 6, 15, 16, and 19 are detached, with the rear board of volume 2 and front boards of volumes 7, 11, and 20 held by cords only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
