An interesting piece of history, offering an insight into the trade of the East India Company, and the products brought back from India to England, mostly being fabric. These include cardamon, raw silk from China, shellac, terrindam, photae, carridaries, and more.

The East India Company was founded in 1600 with the intention of trading in the Indian Ocean region, in particular with the East Indies and East Asia. At their peak they were the largest company in the world.
