    Illustrated, Leather Binding, Scarce

    In the original Italian.

    With a general title page, dated 1739, followed by seven individually paginated studies of saints, dated 1725-1745.

    The works are as follows: a 1741 study of Saint Ignazio Fondatore; a 1725 study of Saint Francesco Saverio; a a 1741 study of Saint Francesco Borgia; a 1733 study of San Luigi Gonzaga; a 1745 study of Saint Stanislao Kostka; a study of Saint Gio Francesco Regis, and a 1745 examination of Saint Giovanni Nepomuceno.

    A scarce work by Antonfrancesco Mariani.

    Condition

    Rebacked, in a full calf binding, with back strip laid down and boards restored. Externally, lovely, with gilt detailing to back strip and board perimeters. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with the odd instance of light spotting.
